Kelantan Lane has several HDB blocks of maker stores. Many are forgettable hardware stores. Poey Huat specializes in fasteners. I walked in today with a handful of sundry RC car screws from Kyosho and Tamiya and asked for refills on them. I got 25 each of several varieties of common RC screws. Total cost $4.30. They didn’t have the estoeric ball connectors for steering joints or specialized screws with mounting damper arms, but for the normal day-to-day “screw vibrated out of the bottoms of my RC car today”, it’s the place to recharge.

These guys have a relatively big selection of power handtools, particularly bosch and makita. I bought a router and jigsaw here. Marcus Lim was helpful and spoke good english.
