 Sunday, June 22, 2003 Posted the first draft (v1.0) of the Photographer's Guide to the Finke Desert Race. It's my attempt to remember all the lessons I learned while photographing the 2003 Finke race. Hopefully it helps me and helps other do a better job photographing this excellent event. Thursday, June 19, 2003 Everything takes longer than I want it to. All my photos are scanned, but few are groomed for display yet. I've already posted some photos on the Black Coffee Blog. If you are looking for a specific car, bike, outfit, or quad, let me know and maybe I have a photo. If so, I'll pop it up online for you asap. If you particularly like any of these photos, drop me a line and I can get you a copy up to 4000dpi resoltion (suitable for a much larger print). In addition to incrementally adding photos, I am writing several articles about my experience at the Finke. There should be content updates approximately weekly. Sunday, May 30, 2003 I just returned home with one hundred rolls of camera film. In a few days I'll be in Alice Springs to witness the Finke Desert Race and shoot as much film as a I can.
