Hello Michael, the only other way I could find to contact you was via twitter, so I have sent you a tweet as well. I am a theatre director staging a production of The Helpless Doorknob in Denver this October and I am requesting a small favor. Please contact me at royce dot wood at gmail dot com at your leisure.
Hello, the bohemian/artistic community of Reno, Nevada USA would be most grateful if you would please send me pictures of two or three more random three card stories from this deck as I am directing an Edwardian/Edward Gorey mini-production in four weeks. The mini-production will be 3 scenes or poses long with some lively entertainment in between for the sketch artists in attendance. I feel The Helpless Doorknob is the perfect foundation to build this production upon but don't have access to many of the cards beyond the three you have shown (After scouring google searches I've only found four other card images and they aren't to my liking). Please email me dustybacon@dustycouture.com soon if you would like to help us.

Regarding the photo taken by VS-33 you purchased on ebay, I was stationed with VS-33 from October 1979 to Dec 1980. I had washed out of SEAL training and I was placed with VS-33, AKA the Screwbirds. The name LTJG Baker sounds familar but can't be sure. I worked on the line division and sent many of the S-3's out. Never went on a cruise but had a blast at NAS North Island. I vaguely remember they had just come off a Med Cruise earlier that year. Usually there was an 18 month turn around between cruises and they were going to start work-ups for a WestPac a few months after I received orders for Avionics A-school. I wouldn't be suprised if this was an authentic photo. Since I believe they were in the Med on their last cruise this was probably when this photo would have been taken. Back in those days, the US and USSR were always snooping on eachother and since the S-3 mission was ASW this would make sense. I just happened on this site looking for a VS-33 Squadron patch. any questions my email is randys1up@yahoo.com

just acquired a Favorit Rapido, silver with cottered cranks, yuck. Glad to some specs on your page for the bottom bracket spindle (68x116mm spindle) I'll check that with mine. I'm going to keep my eye out for a square taper spindle on ebay or maybe just get a new Shimano BB with italian threading.

Lol there are a LOT of monkeys here in Awnings Durban. I once got attacked by one myself, and I needed surgery to have it removed from my face. Quite a horrific experience there, but besides that, they are rather adorable!
