Various Advice from Yahoo Answers

  • There’s the Sungai Road market, which is near Sim Lim Square. Basically people with things to sell will go there and set up a stall. I believe the Heeren also organizes a flea market once a month.
  • If you are looking purely for 2nd hand clothing, you can go to the flea market at tangling mall every 1st and 3rd sat of the month i think. Starts at around 3pm to 11pm.
  • If you are looking for 2nd hand toys and collectibles, then China Square Central would be a good place. It’s open every Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
  • Why don’t you check out the theives’ market off Jalan Besar road close to Sim Lim Tower..But all you would get there is junk. Actually if you’re looking for something more then junk, just cross the Jalan Besar road and go into dunlop street & all those small street near it.. u will find lot of stores selling 2nd hand goods…

Don’t forget the Singapore Freecycle group — 100% free wanteds/offereds.
