This will be interesting to exactly nobody except someone looking for it...
I wanted to print QSL labels using SwissLog. I bought a box of Avery L7173 shipping labels. They are 99.06x57.0mm labels 2x5. Unfortunately Swisslog doesn't have the label measurements for these labels. I did some screwing around and figured out most of the parameters. Something is still slightly out of adjustment because the last line of the last label gets truncated when printed.
In Swisslog 5 Reports::Setup::Labels
(*)Top Margin: 0.26
(*)Left Margin: 0.19
Label Height: 2.244
Label Width: 3.898
Gutter Across: 0.102
Gutter Down: 0.0
Number Across: 2
Number Down: 5
==these parameters in inches
* -- these two paramters must be set on the Reports::Setup::Page pane, saved, and then you can adjust the other parameters.
These numbers high accuracy and in metric:
Top Margin: 6.7mm (.2638")
Side Margin: 4.7mm (.1850")
Label Width: 99mm (2.8976")
Label Height: 57mm (2.2441")
Horizontal Pitch: 101.6mm (4")
Vertical Pitch: 57mm (2.2441")
Corner: 2.5mm radius
CNN made a big deal of freeing their video internet broadcasts recently. Big deal. The player totally sucks. It's so retarded about streaming. It likes to queue up in blocks of 2 seconds. 2 seconds playing -- 10 seconds downloading -- 2 seconds playing -- 10 seconds downloading. It's idiotic. Then when you try to play it again, it starts downloading the stream again, even though it should still have it cached locally.
Junk.
My Danish colleague's wife just gave birth. I made the little boy a customized t-shirt gift. It says, in Danish, "I devoured my twin."
Brown is being sent back to Washington from Baton Rouge, where he was the primary official overseeing the federal government's response to the disaster, according to two federal officials who declined to be identified before the announcement.
So the Bush Administration is sacrificing this clown. So what. That's nothing more than a few sandbags thrown against their own swiftly-rotting levee. The entire Federal Government looks like incompetent, venal, fascist shit. They are desperately struggling to cover up their atrocious performance. Unfortunately it's unlikely anything will change. Quislings like CNN continue with their softball coverage of the detestable federal government performance. Typical lazy indolent Americans willl continue their lazy indolent stupid ways, "so what if they're putting Louisianans in de facto concentration camps; I live in Michigan..."
Do yourself a favor and look at other first-person viewpoints of this disaster then you might start getting a sense for our government's grotesque-ness.
Anyway, this is one of the few political posts I've written on this blog. There's a reason too -- thinking about this stuff degrades me into sputtering rage faster than I can write anything coherent about it. But it's just too much now, the Federal Government is both stupid and evil. The worst thing is that most people either won't recognize this, or don't care. Gross.
