What goes around...

...comes around

I spent many hours in childhood fiddling with all the settings of Pa's and Dad's rigs, flipping switches, spinning dials, keying mics. I thought I got away with it.

This morning as I was typing up my last article about steak, Luke came in on his wooden tricycle behind me. He looked up, spotted my Icom IC-746pro and went to work. He nearly snapped the RIT dial off so I aimed him at the heavier, weighted, more-rewarding VFO tuning dial.

I can't complain too much. Unlike Pa's and Dad's old rigs, this Icom is digital, so pressing buttons and dials when the rig is off actually doesn't change anything.
