Luke broke a house rule. Ling meted a (to Luke) severe punishment: no superhero t-shirts for the day.

Luke’s answer? “oh, I’ll wear a Decepticon T-shirt instead”

Ling said, “no, that’s included in the ban too.”

Luke argued that is shouldn’t be, as Decepticons (Evil-side Transformers) are bad, thus not super or heroic.

  1. It is funny to hear you talk about transformers. Hank was heavily into them when he was little. We still have them all. One Christmas I got him an Optimus Prime that transformed into a tractor trailer. lol

  2. Your Nemisis says:

    “CREATIVE THINKER”!!!!

  3. Yeah, Luke completely lost interest in Thomas the Train some time back. During the last couple months has converted to a superheros/Transformers addict.

I was looking throug his deck of vintage Transformers cards last night. They are the earliest Transformers, from the 1980’s. It was quaint to see that several transform into things like cassette tapes and boomboxes.

We bought him a DVD full of old Tranformers cartoons. They’re overdubbed in Mandarin, so I suppose that will help his crummy Chinese.

Luke’s favorite character is Optimus Prime too, he has many of them. He only likes the heros. He was aghast, and wanted an explanation, when mom and I bought him a Megatron (the leader of the evil Decepticons).

  4. so did you let him wear the decipticon shirt? he made a reasonable arguement.
